Practical steps to connect LiveU Solo to Videolinq.

Updated over a year ago

LiveU Solo is a portable H.264 low-cost media encoder using cellular bonding technology to broadcast live video from remote locations. The LiveU Solo encoder connects to the Solo LiveU portal. In the portal configure settings to point the live stream to Videolinq.

Configure LiveU

Follow the manufacturer's instructions to connect the LiveU Solo encoder to the internet. Login to the LiveU Solo portal. When the encoder connects you will see it in the customer portal. Cick on the + sign.

Scroll down, find the Videolinq icon, and click.

Open the Videolinq channel, create an RTMP source, and expand the control panel under the preview player. Copy the RTMP path and streamkey.

Go back to the LiveU Solo portal and copy the RTMP path and stream key in the "primary ingress URL" and "Stream name" boxes. Adjust the profile settings as needed. When ready, click "Submit".

Last step: start transmission from LiveU Solo. Confirm you see the live video in the Videolinq channel preview player, and push "Go Live".
