How to connect Wirecast Videolinq

Wirecast is the most powerful, customizable live video streaming and production tool for Mac and Windows. When using Wirecast, you have in your hands professional live video streaming and production studio software to create high-quality live-streaming video in minutes. Learn below how to configure Wirecast to stream live video to Videolinq.

Step 1:

Open Wirecast, start in layer 1, create the + sign, and create a video source.

Step 2:

Select a video source from live video capture devices or media files.

Step 3:

Click on the sign of the upper left corner of Wirecast to configure Videolinq.

Step 4:

Open your Videolinq dashboard, and enter a channel. In the channel create a RTMP video source. Once activated, expand the panel under the preview player and click on the Encodet tab. Copy the RTMP path and stream key.

Step 5:

Back to Wirecast select RTMP Server from the drop-down destination.

Step 6:

Give the record a name, select the encoding profile, and paste in the Address box, the Videolinq RTMP path. Paste in the Stream box the Videolinq stream key. Click OK.

Step 7:

Click one more time on the Streaming icon on the upper left corner of Wirecast.

The live output of Wirecast will show in the Videolinq channel preview player. Configure the Videolinq channel and create a player, add closed captioning, and stream to destinations.
