This workflow explains how send live-video from a RTMP encoder to a channel, and add real-time closed captioning created by an external operator.
Create a new channel or use one created before. Create a RTMP encoder video source and enable it.
Click on the CC tab under the preview player, select the 3rd option, copy the credentials, and pass them to your captions operator.
Important: remember that an RTMP live stream must reach Videolinq before you send closed captioning.
Click on the "Encoder" tab and copy the RTMP path and stream key.
For this demonstration we used the OBS Studio software. Read this article how to configure OBS. Copy the RTMP path and stream key to the proper window.
Push on "Go Live". This will send video to the player (if you use one).
Start destination(s) and confirm video plus closed captioning is visible.
To stop the stream go in reverse order - stop the destination(s), stop the channel (stop "Live"), stop the RTMP encoder, and stop the video source.
